I have enjoyed photographing this family for three years now. One of the most fun parts of having awesome (and beautiful) clients like this family is watching the kids grow. Two years ago, little W was shy and timid. Now he is outgoing. H now has such a variety of knowledge and is almost in middle school. And E’s personality is just so outgoing and fun.

Urbana High School class of 2013– M

We finished up M’s session today! It was sunny with a bit of a chill to the wind. I had so much fun having M pose. Seriously, she has the typical features of a model. It made me feel a bit like that one annoying guy from Tyra’s model show telling her how to pose and do the Lady Gaga.

Nora + Ryan

On September 8, Nora and Ryan got married in Chicago. I’ve known Nora since we were very young– we grew up in the same town. What neither of us knew is that Ryan was in that same suburb.

Many years later, Nora and Ryan finally met.

It’s one of those things where it’s almost good they didn’t meet any earlier, even though surely their paths crossed countless times. They met when it was right, and they showed so much love for each other at their wedding.
